Frequently asked questions

Short answers, with the status stated.

Is A8 Core™ a core banking system?

No. A8 Core™ is the account operating system that runs beside the core you already have. Deposits, lending, cards, and branch operations stay on the core; A8 Core™ carries the account types, rails, and reporting a deposit core does badly, on one authoritative record. See the coexistence model →

Which account types does it support?

45 account types across five natures — demand deposit, retirement (IRA, Roth, SEP, SIMPLE, Solo 401(k), HSA, 529), taxable, trust and fiduciary, and private fund — on one integration.

What does “product specification” mean on a module?

That the module is described as designed, not as available. Availability for any institution depends on its own authorities, contracts, integrations, and policies. The product status page states what is shipped, gated, and specified.

Which cores is it designed to run beside?

Designed integration patterns exist for Fiserv, Jack Henry, FIS, Finastra, CSI, and COCC, through the Integration Exchange. A pattern is not a certification; partner status is stated only when it exists.

Availability. Account types, workflows, and filing capabilities described on this page depend on the operating institution’s legal authority, configuration, contracts, integrations, and policies, and are subject to institution, jurisdiction, product, and legal review. Module maturity is summarized on the product status page.
