What implementation actually looks like.
No vendor controls your side of a deployment, so this page will not quote you a marketing number of days. It states the stages, what each one produces, and — the part that matters — which work is ours and which is yours. Real durations are set per engagement, in writing.

Why the parallel run is the safety mechanism
The migration factory imports your legacy records with their legacy identifiers preserved — every migrated record keeps a reference back to the system it came from — so the parallel run reconciles account by account, and cutover is a decision you make with evidence, not a leap.
Institutions with no incumbent system — a de novo trust company standing up end to end — skip stage 4 and typically move faster; the de novo path covers that route.
