Account opening, as a first-class surface.

Every account on the platform starts the same way: identity verified, eligibility checked, consents recorded, funding cleared — as one governed workflow rather than a stack of PDFs. This page names that surface so a buyer can put it in a requirements grid.

What onboarding covers

Identity: CIP, KYC and KYB

Individual and entity verification runs through governed integrations with specialist identity providers — the platform orchestrates the checks, records the outcomes, and keeps the evidence with the account it opened.

Eligibility and account-type rules

Each of the 45 published account types carries its statutory eligibility rules as data — who may open it, who may fund it, what it may hold — enforced at opening, not discovered at audit.

Consents and disclosures

Every consent and disclosure acknowledgment is a record: what was shown, what was agreed, when, by whom. E-sign acceptance is part of the account’s history from day one.

Funding

First funding moves on the same real-time rails as everything else — and posts to the ledger the moment it clears, so a new account is usable when the client expects it to be.

Once, then everywhere

Identity established at onboarding is reusable across the ecosystem — onboard once, then open additional accounts or reach connected experiences without re-proving who you are. That is the design behind the Investor Passport.

Status honesty applies here as everywhere: the components above ship at the maturity stated on the product-status page, and nothing on this page upgrades a status.
