The Principal Cloud Infrastructure Architect is responsible for designing, securing, automating, and scaling the cloud platform that powers A8 Core™.
This role owns the cloud foundation upon which every application, API, workflow, AI service, and customer experience depends.
You will define the future-state architecture for Azure, Kubernetes, DevSecOps, platform engineering, observability, resiliency, and disaster recovery while helping modernize a sophisticated financial infrastructure platform supporting highly regulated workloads.

Responsibilities
- Design and evolve the A8 Core™ cloud platform
- Establish cloud architecture standards
- Lead migration to cloud-native infrastructure
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Bicep
- Define AKS platform standards
- Build automated deployment pipelines
- Improve reliability, resiliency, and scalability
- Implement platform observability standards
- Partner with Security and Engineering teams
- Reduce operational complexity and technical debt
Qualifications
Required
- 12+ years of infrastructure engineering experience
- 5+ years of cloud architecture experience
- Expert-level Azure experience
- Strong Kubernetes expertise
- Strong Terraform experience
- Experience operating production financial systems
- Deep understanding of networking and security
- Experience implementing DevSecOps practices
